About Piksiwork

I’m an independent visual creator and documentary-oriented storyteller based in Slovenia. My work focuses on raw realities, subcultures, and personal narratives that exist outside the mainstream. I rely on a direct, unfiltered approach, prioritising authenticity and strong authorial perspective.

I primarily work on the ground, building long-term access to people, communities, and environments that are often overlooked or misrepresented. This allows me to produce work that is intimate, context-driven, and grounded in real experience rather than surface-level observation.

I’m entirely self-taught, starting out independently and developing my practice through hands-on work and experimentation. Over time, I’ve built a flexible workflow that allows me to operate across the full creative process — from concept and research to production and final delivery.

Preferring to work outside rigid structures, I develop and release my own projects under piksiwork, where I combine production, creative direction, and personal vision into a cohesive body of work.
